2017 Marketing Goals

A new year is the perfect time to target new goals and to improve your work. At Sierra Marketing, we believe that the following 5 main activities should be considered to help you reach your marketing goals. Read on to find out more!

1. Create an app

 

As technology progresses, we are finding that apps and mobile sites are being used more than traditional websites. Why? They’re more engaging and easier to use thanks to smartphones. Mobile apps are also able to display a range of features that are not available with a traditional website. These include the ability to be used offline, access to the user's camera/contact list (if necessary) as well as the functionality to personalise the app for each user.

 

 

2. Produce a video

 

Videos are an easy way to engage visitors on your website and encourage them to stay longer. Videos are attractive, easy to digest and tend to convert more often into sales than other mediums. Creating a video can be an easy and fun process, so why not put it on your 2017 to-do-list? 

 

 

3. Update your website

 

Your website is your 24/7 showcase, so there is the necessity to make sure it is constantly updated! It is the best place to promote your product/brand/company with blog posts, videos, and short explanations, and the more interactive these are, the better! So, be easy to find, be known, and update your website.

 

 

4. Blog about your expertise

 

Creating content is one of the best ways to create a trusting relationship between your business and your consumers. Content is more effective than an ad and provides genuine information about your product/services. 5. Audit your social media

 

Now is the perfect time to reflect on what worked and what didn’t work in your marketing strategy this past year. How many people did you reach? Which media worked better for you? Was it Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter? Ask yourself these questions to build a 2017 marketing strategy that really fits your needs.
